12 Days of Edtech: CoSpaces Edu, a VR and AR creation tool for education

We all know that the holiday season is the time for family, friends, and of course – gift-giving. In the spirit of Christmas and the love for EdTech, I will be sharing with you 12 EdTech tools that can surely help you this coming 2024. Day 5 of our 12 Days of EdTech is about CoSpaces Edu, a VR and AR creation tool for education.

CoSpaces Edu, created by Delightex, primarily focuses on helping learners develop 21^st Century learning skills. They provide learners with a platform that allows them to build their own animations which include virtual and augmented reality. This purpose is in line with the company’s vision for a platform that allows learners to explore and understand the world around them.

CoSpaces Edu’s key features

According to their website, CoSpaces Edu has at least five key features. These include a creation toolbox, coding features, virtual and augmented reality, and class management tools. The creation toolbox can be used by learners to build their own 3D animations using its rich library or by designing and uploading their own designs. The coding feature, on the other hand, allows learners to easily access resources and learn coding themselves. This includes visual programming languages for beginners to more complex ones. Its AR and VR features allows learners to further explore their designs in an immersive 360-degree environment or by projecting these onto surfaces in the real world. Lastly, CoSpaces Edu also provides class management tools for teachers to easily manage their classes and support the learner’s journey.

One of the good things about CoSpaces Edu is that they have two different plans catering to the diverse needs of schools and similar institutions.
